  • Bachelor’s Programs: Completing the Higher Secondary Certificate (12th grade) or equivalent. Specific programs may require certain subjects; for instance, engineering programs often require mathematics and science subjects.
  • Master’s Programs: A recognized bachelor’s degree (minimum 3 years) in a relevant field. Most universities expect a GPA equivalent to a Swedish “C” or higher. Some programs may also require work experience or a portfolio, especially for design and architecture courses.

Proficiency in English is essential, as most programs are taught in English:

  • IELTS: Minimum overall band score of 6.5, with no section below 5.5.
  • TOEFL iBT: Minimum score of 90, with at least 20 in writing.
  • PTE Academic: Minimum score of 62, with no section below 55.

Note: Some universities may waive the English proficiency requirement if you have completed prior education in English. Always check specific university requirements.
